Care & Sewing Tips

Pre-washing your fabric is recommended before any sewing project. This relaxes the weave, accounts for shrinkage in advance, and softens the hand for stitching.

Washing

• Machine wash cool on a gentle cycle, with phosphate-free detergent.
• Tumble dry on low heat, or line dry away from direct sun.
• Some shrinkage may occur during the print process and on first wash — expect 5–6% length, 2–3% width.

Ironing

• Iron on the reverse side only, on a medium-hot setting.
• Use a pressing cloth for delicate areas to protect the print.

Sewing

• Recommended needle: Universal 80/12 or Sharps 70/10
• Recommended thread: All-purpose polyester or 100% mercerised cotton

Print On Demand

All Hoca products are printed on demand at our Kuala Lumpur studio. This means we can offer over 1,200 designs without holding inventory — but it also means we cannot accept returns or exchanges on custom-printed orders. We recommend ordering a swatch first to check colorway, scale, and fabric hand.

Quality Guarantee

• You have 30 days from when your order ships to review for flaws or printing errors.
• If anything's not right, email us at sales@hoca.com with photos and we'll make it right.
• Dye lots may shift slightly between separate orders — order all the fabric you need at once for best color match.

• Standard (West Malaysia): 3–5 business days · RM 12 (free over RM 250)
• Standard (East Malaysia): 5–8 business days · RM 22
• International (ASEAN): 7–14 business days · from RM 65
• Express courier: Next-day for orders before 12pm KL time · RM 35
